Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 4, 2026

The Crawl Tool is a standalone desktop application designed to help you crawl, index, and analyze your own websites locally. We are committed to protecting your privacy, and this policy outlines how we handle (or rather, do not handle) your data.

1. No Data Collection

The Crawl Tool operates entirely on your local machine. We do not collect, store, transmit, or process any personal data, browsing data, or website data on our servers. All crawling, indexing, and analysis is performed locally on your device.

2. No User Accounts

The application does not require you to create an account, register, or provide any personal information such as your name, email address, or payment details.

3. No Cookies or Tracking

The Crawl Tool does not use cookies, analytics trackers, advertising identifiers, or any other form of online tracking. Your usage of the application is entirely private.

4. No Third-Party Data Sharing

Since no data is collected, no data is shared with third parties. Your crawled content, search queries, and analysis results remain solely on your device.

5. Local Data Storage

Any data generated by the application — including crawled website content, search indices, and local databases — is stored exclusively on your local machine. You have full control over this data and can delete it at any time by removing the application’s local data directory.

6. Optional Integrations

Some features may offer optional integrations with third-party services (such as Google Search Console). These connections are made directly from your machine to the third-party service. We do not act as an intermediary, and we do not store any credentials, tokens, or data exchanged during these integrations. You may revoke access to any third-party service at any time through your account settings on that service.

7. Children’s Privacy

The Crawl Tool does not knowingly collect information from children under the age of 13. Since the application does not collect any data at all, this policy applies universally.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
